Until I learned to embrace it for all its strengths, I was kind of annoyed by Stella's obsession with bathing. If it were up to her she would spend most of every day in the bathtub, just hanging out with the bubbles and the plastic fish. She doesn't need a real tub, a kitchen sink will do, even a bathroom sink will suffice. And if there are other kids, well, the more the merrier. She strips down every chance she gets. Now I know better and sometime encourage a frolic in the kitchen sink--its amazing how much I can get done while she is entertained in the water.

This is one of my favorites. After dinner I noticed things were a little too quiet so I went downstairs to see what Stella and Lily were up to. Hanging out in the bathtub. Water running. Cause what else would you do when friends come over?
with the twins
Another favorite bathing moment. I came in from cooking dinner in the kitchen to find this one.
clothes, or no clothes, she loves a good tub.
this is Stella's new tub. no water in the house yet, but she has already spent some good time here.
I don't even have pics of bathing at the babysitters, bathing with Mateo & Eli, bathing in the kitchen sink, and the hot tub will be another entry itself.

We have a bath tub available for use in Vermont. Come on over.
I used to think bath playtime was perfect in winter when it is too cold to swim outside, but I find our kiddos spend just as much time in there as the pool. Stella takes the cake though...i love her spur-of-the-moment bathing. She's adorable!
